ACCESSIBLE FILM FESTIVAL (Ankara, Türkiye)
Established in 2013, the Accessible Film Festival ensures equitable access to cinema, screening independent Turkish and international films with accessibility features. The festival fosters an inclusive cultural experience where everyone, regardless of ability, can enjoy cinema equally. The Festival showcases nearly 40 feature films, shorts, and documentaries annually, accompanied by parallel activities such as Q&A sessions with filmmakers, workshops, panels etc. Films are presented with Turkish audio description and Turkish caption subtitling. Additionally, Q&A sessions are supported by Turkish sign language interpreters. All workshops, panels and other activities are designed with accessibility in mind, and all venues are selected for their accessibility. The Festival also ensures that its communication channels, including its website, are accessible.

FESTIVAL INCLÚS (Barcelona, Spain)
Festival Inclús, Barcelona International Disability Film Festival, promotes audiovisual works focusing on functional diversity to offer a fresh perspective on the lives of people with disabilities. The festival also encourages the use and knowledge of audiovisual accessibility, bringing cinema closer to audiences who would otherwise lack the opportunity to experience it. All screenings are captioned for the hearing impaired and feature audio description for the visually impaired. The festival venue is wheelchair accessible, and sign language interpreters are available during the event. Additionally, there are relaxed screenings and films in Sign Language.

KLAPPE AUF! SHORT FILM FESTIVAL (Hamburg, Germany)
KLAPPE AUF! stands out by presenting its short film selection, chosen and presented equally by people with and without disabilities. The festival is designed with accessibility in mind to ensure that all attendees can enjoy the event. All films are provided with captions for the hearing impaired and audio description for the visually impaired. Audio description is provided by voice-over artists, which can be heard through headphones. The festival also offers sign language interpreters, captioners (STTRs) and live audio description to accompany Q&A´s. All venues are wheelchair accessible. The festival takes place biennially in Hamburg, Germany.

OSKA BRIGHT FILM FESTIVAL (Brighton, UK)
Oska Bright Film Festival is the world’s leading festival for films made by or featuring learning disabled and autistic people. At Oska Bright, all screenings are relaxed, subtitled, and feature British Sign Language interpretation and audio description upon request. With less than 5% of disabled people working in the UK film industry, the festival is committed to driving change. Oska Bright works internationally with industry partners, is funded by the BFI, and offers BAFTA-qualifying content. It also promotes accessible screenings, provides training for venues, and helps develop skills for aspiring filmmakers.

THE EXTRAORDINARY FILM FESTIVAL (Namur, Belgium)
The Extraordinary Film Festival (TEFF) is unique in Belgium, providing a positive and authentic portrayal of people with disabilities, challenging common stereotypes. Held every two years, the TEFF showcases a selection of high-quality international films (features and shorts). The festival also offers Q&A sessions, conferences, workshops, activities, concerts, and shows. Recognized for its human warmth and meaningful encounters, TEFF is the only festival in Belgium to be fully accessible: all screenings include closed captions for the hearing impaired, audio description for the visually impaired and people with learning difficulties, and sign language interpretation. The festival venue is wheelchair accessible, and volunteers are trained to assist attendees, including those with assistance dogs.
